Technical Data Sheet (Professional Use Only)

DESCRIPTION

  • High-performance, plasticizer-free, single-component, water-based, 100% acrylic elastomeric roof coating for spray, brush, or roller application
  • Industry-leading tensile strength and elongation for a durable, long-lasting waterproof membrane
  • Formulated with UV-resistant pigments and biocides to help resist weathering and discoloration from dirt accumulation
  • Excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates including metal, single-ply roofing systems, wood, and concrete
  • Breathable membrane allows trapped moisture to escape while maintaining waterproof protection

RECOMMENDED USES

Designed as a protective coating for roofing systems including:

  • Galvanized metal
  • Concrete
  • PVC
  • Hypalon
  • EPDM
  • Polyurethane foam
  • Primed smooth and granulated asphaltic surfaces

Primers may be required depending on substrate type.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants including dust, oil, loose coatings, and debris.

  • Pressure wash recommended (minimum 2000 PSI with fan tip)
  • Mildew should be treated and rinsed thoroughly
  • Cracks and defects should be repaired prior to coating

Substrate Guidelines:

  • Masonry: Cure minimum 30 days; prime before coating
  • Metal: Clean rust and prime appropriately
  • EPDM: Use compatible primer/cleaner
  • PVC / Hypalon / aged TPO: Use approved primer
  • Polyurethane foam: Apply directly within 24 hours of installation
  • Asphalt surfaces: Use appropriate base coats
  • Other substrates: Follow approved primer guidelines

APPLICATION

Can be applied by brush, roller, or spray on clean, dry surfaces.

  • Surface must be at least 75°F for spraying
  • Each coat must be fully dry before applying additional layers
  • Contaminated surfaces must be cleaned prior to recoating

APPLICATION PROPERTIES

  • Coverage Yield: 1 gal per 100 sq ft (approx. 8.8 dry mils)
  • Dry Time: ~90 minutes at 75°F / 50% humidity
  • Recoat Window: 6+ hours
  • Full Cure: ~30 days

COVERAGE RATE

Apply at approximately:

  • 1.5 gallons per 100 sq ft (24 wet mils)

Surface texture and environmental conditions may affect final thickness.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Do not apply below 50°F or if temperatures may drop below 32°F within 24 hours
  • Avoid application when rain or dew is expected before drying
  • High humidity and cool temperatures may extend cure time
  • Multiple thin coats may be required in marginal conditions

LIMITATIONS

  • Not recommended for slopes under 1/8 in 12
  • Not suitable for ponded water conditions
  • Must be fully dry before exposure to moisture
  • Not intended as a vapor barrier or thermal barrier
  • Cure requires full water evaporation

SAFE PRACTICES

For professional use only. Users should be familiar with proper handling, safety procedures, and application methods prior to use.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT

Brush

  • Synthetic filament brush

Roller

  • 1¼” nap roller

Spray Equipment

  • Minimum 30:1 pump ratio
  • 2.5+ GPM output
  • Proper filtration (30 mesh or larger)
  • Compatible high-pressure hose system
  • Self-cleaning reversible spray tip (.027–.039 orifice, 40°–50° fan)
  • Industrial-grade spray gun system recommended
