Years later he found himself in America involved in the stone industry. This time from a different angle; refinishing, stone care, and maintenance of natural stone. His knowledge of stone, his spirited wits, and uncanny ability as a troubleshooter set him apart. He soon became known as the Godfather of Stone.
This comprehensive book is a must read for everyone involved in the stone industry. As Maurizio liked to put it, maintenance (which is stone intelligence) must begin way before the cutting of the ribbon. In fact, it must begin at the time of specification of the stone, and go on every step of the way until it is installed in its final location.
