Skudo CURE
Penetrating curing agent that enhances concrete strength and consistency without surface coatings.
Skudo CURE is a penetrating curing agent designed to improve concrete hydration by forming a sub-surface moisture barrier. This allows for more consistent curing, resulting in improved color uniformity and surface strength, even under construction traffic.
Unlike traditional curing compounds, Skudo CURE is non-film forming and dissipates naturally within 30 days without requiring UV exposure. This eliminates the need for grinding or chemical removal before applying decorative finishes, coatings, or flooring systems.
Ideal for decorative and polished concrete applications, Skudo CURE enhances abrasion resistance, reduces dusting, and creates a denser, harder surface while lowering labor costs associated with surface prep.
Features
- Improves curing by retaining internal slab moisture
- Reduces crazing and map cracking
- Penetrating, non-film forming formula requires no removal
- Creates a hydrophobic barrier for improved stain resistance
- Increases abrasion resistance and surface hardness
- Helps minimize efflorescence and concrete dusting
How to Apply
- Store between 40°F and 105°F and keep from freezing
- Do not mix or dilute with other chemicals
- Apply to new concrete after bleed water has dissipated
- Avoid over-burnishing the slab to ensure proper penetration
- Use a low-pressure pump sprayer with a conical tip
- Apply evenly in overlapping circular motions without puddling
- Immediately spread using a microfiber pad for uniform coverage
- Prevent overspray and rinse immediately if contact occurs
- Apply before any soft cutting operations
- Do not apply below 40°F (4.4°C)
Application Rate
| Coverage | 1,000 – 1,500 sq ft per gallon |
| Application Method | Low-pressure sprayer with microfiber pad |
Cleaning
- Clean tools with soap and water shortly after use
- Remove wet overspray from glass or metal with soap and water
- Use solvent cleaner to remove dried overspray as soon as possible
